Actually, there has been a big difference in the prize money of Olympics and National Games. In the current provision, there is a provision to give a prize money of two crores for bringing gold medal in Olympics, one and a half crores for bringing silver medal and one crore rupees for bringing bronze medal. Apart from this, if any player of the state is selected to participate in the Olympics, then he is also given a prize money of Rs 50 lakh by the state.

There is also a provision for the job of a gazetted officer

Whether the players of the state bring medals in the Olympics or in the National Games, there is a policy to give them the job of an out of turn gazetted officer in addition to the prize money under the Sports Policy 2021. The players who bring medals are appointed to the posts of Deputy Superintendent of Police, Assistant Forest Conservator or Divisional Transport Officer under Grade-one.

Every possible effort is being made by the government to boost the morale of the players at the national level. Doubling the prize money will encourage the players and they will make the state proud by bringing more and more medals in the National Games.
