The Women Empowerment and Child Development Department has found a new way to crack down on Anganwadi workers who run away from moral responsibility. For this, Nutrition Tracker App has been launched by the department. On which Anganwadi workers will have to take selfies with children and upload photos every day. Along with this, live location will also have to be shared.
such carelessness is being maintained
In fact, efforts were being made by the Ministry of Women and Child Development for a long time regarding transparency in Anganwadi centres. Till now, reports were being provided to the department by recording attendance in the register. Many Anganwadi centers are also being operated in the state, where village women have been deployed to operate the Anganwadi centres. The department was making efforts to break such syndicates for a long time. Prashant Arya, Director of Women Empowerment and Child Development Department, said that now the activities of Anganwadi Center will have to be uploaded on the Nutrition Tracker app every day.
Anganwadi workers cannot run away from responsibility
The special thing is that every day the worker will have to take a selfie with the children and upload the photo on the Tracker app. That means 90 percent of the work will have to be given every day. Which will be evaluated by departmental officers. If the work is not found satisfactory, strict action will be taken against the Anganwadi workers as well as the responsible officials. Said that Anganwadi workers can no longer run away from their moral responsibilities.
