Health Minister Dr Dhan Singh Rawat has instructed all Chief Medical Officers to remain on alert amid the possibility of increase in dengue in the state. He said that by coordinating with the district administration and line departments, dengue should be controlled by taking effective steps in accordance with the microplan in dengue affected areas and affected areas. It will be monitored every day from the Directorate General level. Health Minister Dr Dhan Singh Rawat said that the state government is constantly trying to prevent dengue. This is the reason why dengue is under control this year, yet caution is needed.
Cases of dengue infection have been reported in some places of the state, in view of their increasing number, medical officers have been asked to remain on alert. He said that instructions were already given in all the districts to eliminate larvae, fogging, spraying and publicity for dengue control and prevention.
In this sequence, continuous action is being taken by the department. So far, larva preventive action has been taken by surveying more than 31 lakh houses. He appealed to everyone that in view of the rainy season, everyone should remain alert against dengue for the next two months and should not allow larvae to grow around them.
