District Magistrate will make arrangements to send the bodies of the poor home by ambulance, Chief Minister Dhami gave instructions

Chief Minister Pushkar Singh Dhami has given instructions to make a standard operating procedure (SOP) to provide ambulance and air ambulance facilities to the needy on time. Chief Minister Dhami said that the District Magistrate will arrange for ambulances to send the bodies of the deceased relatives of such families who are facing financial problems.

On Monday, Chief Minister Pushkar Singh Dhami held a high-level meeting at the Chief Minister’s residence. He said that all the needy should get ambulance facilities on time. A few days ago, an incident came to light in Almora, in which a family could not take the body of the relatives to Pithoragarh through ambulance due to financial crisis. They were forced to carry the body on the roof of a Bolero vehicle. The Chief Minister seemed concerned about this incident. The Chief Minister also said that if the relatives of a deceased person are facing difficulty in cremation due to ill health, then the District Magistrates of the concerned districts will ensure this arrangement at their level. The Chief Minister has also given instructions for effective publicity and mythological importance of these places in relation to the winter Chardham Yatra. He said that these places have had their own special significance since ancient times and devotees visit these places.

Visit to these places also gives the same virtue as is done during regular travel. In winter, Kedarnath is worshiped in Omkareshwar Temple, Ukhimath, Badrinath is worshiped in Pandukeshwar and Nursing Temple Joshimath, Yamunotri in Kharsali and Gangotri in Mukhwa. Principal Secretary RK Sudhanshu, Secretary Shailesh Bagoli, Vinay Shankar Pandey, Additional Director General of Police AP Anshuman and Vice President MDDA Banshidhar Tiwari were present in the meeting.

Dhami Cabinet meeting tomorrow

Dhami Cabinet meeting will be held in the Secretariat on Wednesday. In this, important decisions related to various departments including revenue, transport, education, health, cooperation, tourism, urban development, home, women empowerment and child development, sports and youth welfare can be approved. The strategy for organizing the National Games can also be discussed in the meeting. Also, important decisions can be taken from the sports point of view.
