Uttarakhand Housing Minister took cognizance of Delhi Coaching Accident, issued orders for coaching centers of the state

State Housing Minister Premchand Agarwal has taken cognizance of the case of death of three children due to water filling in the basement of a coaching center in Delhi and has issued instructions for coaching centers in Uttarakhand. Minister Agarwal gave these instructions by talking to Additional Secretary Housing Atar Singh and MDDA Vice President Banshidhar Tiwari over the phone. He said that after the incident of water filling in the basement of a coaching center in Delhi, three students, including two girls and a boy, failed to come out, due to which they died.

Such an incident should not happen in Uttarakhand

Aggarwal said that a campaign should be run on coaching centers to prevent such an incident in Uttarakhand. Agarwal gave strict instructions and said that immediate action should be taken if the coaching centers of the state do not work as per the standards. He directed that action should be taken against the coaching center if safety measures are not in place in the basement and other necessary works like evacuation during disaster are not in place. Minister Agarwal also said that the process of quick action should be implemented against those against whom action is being taken.
