Chief Secretary Anand Bardhan has given instructions to further strengthen the security system of the airports and helipads of the state, which are important from the point of view of air communication. In view of the security of the helipad, he has given instructions to create new posts in the police department and make recruitments in them. Along with this, from the point of view of security, he has also asked to do a security audit of all the dams of the state again.
High level meeting
A high level meeting was held with the officials of the government and the army at the State Emergency Center located at Uttarakhand State Disaster Management Authority under the chairmanship of Chief Secretary Anand Bardhan. In the meeting, the Chief Secretary gave instructions to do a security audit of all the important infrastructure of the state. He said that Uttarakhand is sensitive to various types of disasters. During relief and rescue operations, instructions were also given to make proper arrangements of fuel in the helipad for the big aircraft of the Air Force. He said that the soldiers are standing alert on the border, but it is important to keep the common citizens aware and vigilant at all times.
Standard operating procedure should be prepared
For this, apart from issuing detailed guidelines regarding what to do during blackout and alert siren, standard operating procedure should also be prepared. He said that Uttarakhand is very important and sensitive from the strategic point of view, hence vigilance and solid preparation is very important. For this, the scope of civil defense should be expanded further.
