There were allegations of financial irregularities in the past as well:
The Social Mutual Benefit Company Limited, belonging to KS Panwar, who was industrial advisor to former Chief Minister Trivendra Singh Rawat, has been accused of financial irregularities in the past.
Even during the assembly session in December 2020, the opposition Congress created a ruckus on this issue. However, at that time the government had vehemently denied all these allegations. It was then said that the RBI has clarified the matter.
After this the episode was almost over. Meanwhile, a few months ago, once again a complaint was filed against this company in the government regarding money laundering.
It was alleged that the company is involved in unauthorized financial activities. The company has done money laundering on a large scale. On this complaint, the government in September asked the police headquarters to investigate it.

Recommendation of its detailed special investigation after preliminary investigation:
After a preliminary inquiry conducted by the Police Headquarters, a detailed special inquiry was recommended. In this sequence, Additional Secretary, Home Riddhim Agarwal sent a letter to the Police Headquarters, expecting the Economic Offenses Wing under the Crime Research Department to investigate the matter at the earliest.
In this sequence, Additional Director General of Police Crime and Law and Order Dr V Murugesan has handed over this investigation to the Economic Offenses Wing.
I have no involvement in this company. This is a family related company. Anyway, it has been tested twice in the past. The police have already investigated this. Now it seems that someone is trying to forcibly raise this issue and target us.
