PM Narendra Modi’s meeting with the Prime Minister of Japan.

According to information received from PIB (Press Information Bureau), Prime Minister Narendra Modi held a bilateral meeting with the Prime Minister of Japan, His Excellency Fumio Kishida. The Prime Minister expressed deep condolences on the passing away of former Prime Minister Shinzo Abe. The Prime Minister underscored the late Prime Minister Abe’s contribution to the vision of a free, open and inclusive Indo-Pacific region, while also strengthening the India-Japan partnership.
The two leaders had a fruitful exchange of views on further deepening bilateral ties. They also discussed many regional and global issues. The leaders reiterated their commitment to further strengthen the India-Japan Special Strategic and Global Partnership, and to work together in the region and across various international groups and institutions.
