Organizations and individuals related to public service are true representatives of society – Chief Minister Dhami

Health Care Excellence Awards were given to the health care institutions and doctors on behalf of the organizing body in a program organized by Chief Minister Pushkar Singh Dhami and Health Minister Dr. Dhan Singh Rawat at a hotel on Rajpur Road Malsi on Thursday.
On this occasion, the Chief Minister said that the institutions and individuals associated with public service to be honored are true representatives of the society. In the era of Corona epidemic, medical institutions and doctors have made their mark in the society by working with dedication.
He said that Prime Minister Narendra Modi is an example of how good leadership manages the country in an orderly manner. The country is progressing rapidly in every field under the leadership of Prime Minister Narendra Modi. It took 15 years to manufacture the polio vaccine in the country, while our scientists under the leadership of PM Modi did this work in a year and prepared two vaccines of corona. Under the leadership of Prime Minister Modi, a great campaign of vaccination was launched in India in the Kovid epidemic. More than 200 crore Kovid vaccines were administered in India. The cultural tradition of India has always been that of ‘Sarve Bhavantuh Sukhinah’. During Kovid, India gave more than 200 million Kovid vaccines to other countries in the same spirit. The world’s largest health scheme Ayushman Bharat scheme is being run in the country under the leadership of the Prime Minister. Free food grains were arranged so that no one in the country sleeps hungry.
He said that after becoming the Prime Minister of Narendra Modi, hope, confidence and new energy has been infused among the country and the countrymen. Under his leadership, the country is progressing rapidly in every field. India’s prestige, respect and self-respect have increased at the global level. A new work culture has started in the country. A harmonious, capable and powerful India has been recognized in the country and in the world. In these eight years under the leadership of Prime Minister Modi, India has become a prosperous, powerful and harmonious India as well as leading the world.
He said that health facilities are developing rapidly in the state. Along with AIIMS satellite center in Kichha and Almora, medical colleges are being set up at Pithoragarh, Rudrapur and Haridwar. Better roads are being constructed with the construction of bypasses in major cities. After the construction of Delhi-Dehradun Elevated Road, the journey from Dehradun to Delhi can be decided in less time than by air. Along with Jolly Grant, the process of making Pantnagar as an international airport is going on expeditiously. Pithoragarh Chinyalisaud Gauchar airstrip is being expanded. For the Amritsar-Calcutta Industrial Corridor, 1000 hectares of land has been made available at Udham Singh Nagar, for which an amount of Rs.400 crore has been approved by the Government of India.
The Chief Minister said that initiatives have been taken to implement Uniform Civil Code in the state, for which regular meetings of the committee constituted are being held. Effective action has been taken to control corruption. The investigation of the irregularities in the recruitment of Subordinate Selection Service Commission is being done by the SIT. So far 39 people have been arrested. It is our endeavor that in future appointments should be transparent, no one can even think of tampering in it, such a system is being developed. Vigilance is being strengthened to check corruption. A revolving fund of Rs 2 crore has been made for this.
Congratulating the Chief Minister on his birthday, Health Minister Dr. Dhan Singh Rawat said that Seva Saptah is being organized in the state from September 16, the birthday of the Chief Minister. A blood donation campaign is being started in the state on September 17, for which 1 lakh registrations are being done. Patients are being adopted in this direction to ensure that the state is equipped with TV by 2024. 02 victims have also been adopted by the Chief Minister. Under Atal Ayushman Yojana 49 lakh cards have been made in the state, while 5.50 lakh people have been given its benefit. 7 Medical Colleges are being set up in all the districts along with providing dialysis facility.
In-charge Secretary Health Dr. R Rajesh Kumar also informed about the health facilities on this occasion.
