Employees associated with the National Old Pension Restoration United Front will celebrate Black Day on October 1 in protest against the NPS system. All employees will work wearing black bands at their workplace. The front will run a membership campaign across the state from October 2 to October 24. While a state-level mega rally will be organized in Doon in the last week of October. This decision was taken in the provincial meeting held on Sunday.
Strategy discussed for restoration of old pension
A meeting was organized in the Lok Nirman Sangh Bhawan of the National Old Pension Restoration United Front Uttarakhand. In which the upcoming strategy of the front was discussed. It was decided that on October 1, the employees will keep their profiles black on the internet media. They will keep the lights of the house off from 8 to 9 in the night. State Executive President Manoj Awasthi said that the employees will not accept anything less than the old pension. The employees of Uttarakhand will further intensify the struggle for restoration of old pension.
The only mission is restoration of old pension
State in-charge Vikram Rawat said that the front is making extensive efforts for restoration of old pension in the state. Whose only mission is old pension. Provincial General Secretary Sitaram Pokhriyal said that the Morcha will organize a big movement at the state level for the restoration of old pension in the coming time. Sanjay Bhaskar of the Mountain Employee Teachers Association said that the Morcha is honestly fighting for the restoration of old pension.
Will increase pressure on the state government
Provincial Treasurer of the State Teachers Association Laxman Singh Rawat said that the Morcha is committed to the restoration of old pension and the employees of Uttarakhand are now ready for a fight till the end. The state government should restore the old pension soon.

During this time, Laxman Singh was given the responsibility of provincial coordinator in the Morcha. Along with this, Shankar Bhatt from Rudraprayag district was appointed as the provincial spokesperson. Ishwar Chandra Chauhan was given the responsibility of Garhwal Mandal Publicity Prachar Pramukh.
