Uttarakhand Health Minister Dr. Dhan Singh Rawat said that every person will get Ayushman Kavach by the State Foundation Day. Under the Ayushman Bhava campaign, Ayushman meetings were organized in gram panchayats and urban wards across the state on Gandhi Jayanti. During this, along with giving information about various health schemes to the common people, their health check-up was done and Ayushman Card and Ayushman Bharat Health Account (Abha ID) were distributed.
Health Minister Dr. Dhan Singh Rawat started the program by distributing Ayushman cards and Abha IDs to the beneficiaries of Majra ward under Dehradun Municipal Corporation. He said that the aim of the government is to provide the shield of Ayushman to every person of Uttarakhand by the State Foundation Day. For which Ayushman card is being made for every person above five years of age. Whereas a target has also been set to create Abha ID for 100% people.
Dehradun remained first
He praised the work done under the Ayushman Bhava campaign organized in Dehradun district in collaboration with other departments of the Health Department. He said that Dehradun district has been on top compared to other districts in making Ayushman Card and Abha ID and also in voluntary blood donation and organ donation. For this he praised the departmental officers, ASHAs and the people of the district.
Dr. Rawat said that the Health Department, in collaboration with other line departments Panchayati Raj, Urban Development, Women and Child Development, Rural Development, Social Welfare and Self Help Groups, has organized Ayushman Sabhas in all the Health and Wellness Centers, Anganwadi Centers and Community Health Centers. Organized an event, where along with doctors, CHO and NAM examined various non-communicable diseases including high blood pressure, diabetes, sickle cell anemia and also made the common people aware about regular vaccination and departmental schemes.

In the Ayushman Sabha organized at Majra, CMO Dehradun Dr. Sanjay Jain presented a detailed report of the campaign run under Seva Pakhwada. He said that the department is trying to create the first Ayushman Village and Ayushman Urban Ward in Dehradun district. During this, MLA Vinod Chamoli, Regional Councilor Satish Kashyap, representatives of Aakash and Chitransh Federation, Dr. Nidhi Rawat, Dr. Vandana Semwal, Dr. Pratap Rawat, Rakesh Bisht, Laxman Rawat, Archana Uniyal, Neetu Walia, Dinesh Pandey and other district level officials. Health officers and employees were present.
7829 Ayushman Sabha organized
7829 Ayushman Sabhas were organized in the state. 7116 meetings were held in rural areas and 313 meetings were held in urban wards. Maximum 1143 meetings were held in Almora district. Apart from this, 1014 in Tehri, 876 in Pauri Garhwal, 785 in Nainital, 734 in Udham Singh Nagar, 624 in Chamoli, 623 in Uttarkashi, 570 in Pithoragarh, 451 in Bageshwar, 359 in Champawat, 319 in Rudraprayag, 202 in Dehradun and Haridwar. 129 meetings were organized.
