Committee formed to investigate the declining student numbers in government schools, will submit report in a week

A committee has been formed to investigate the declining student numbers in government schools of the state. The committee constituted under the chairmanship of Guldeep Gairola, Additional State Project Director of Samagra Shiksha, will submit its report to the Directorate General of Education within a week. Director General of Education Jharna Kamthan has issued an order in this regard. According to the order issued by the Director General of Education, this seven-member committee includes Rudraprayag Chief Education Officer Pramod Kumar Bisht, Deputy Director of Elementary Education Kamla Barwal, Deputy Director of Secondary Education JP Kala, Uttarkashi District Education Officer Secondary Shailendra Amoli, Block Education Officer Amit Chauhan of Pabau Block of Pauri District and Assistant Director of SCERT Krishnanand Bijalwan as members. The order states that the committee will investigate the declining student numbers in government primary schools and secondary schools and submit its report. Which will study the reasons for the decline in student numbers and present suggestions to increase it to the Education Minister.
