CM took stock of Almora parliamentary seat, said- development works should be reviewed twice a month

Chief Minister Pushkar Singh Dhami said that no laxity will be tolerated in solving public problems in the districts.
There should be no unnecessary delay in disposal of files. Avoid making unnecessary objections in them. He instructed the District Magistrates to review the development works twice a month. Dhami said that a separate review will be done to improve the Chief Minister’s announcements and health facilities.
Chief Minister Pushkar Singh Dhami on Monday reviewed 14 assembly constituencies under Almora parliamentary seat at the camp office at Chief Minister’s residence. He said that after sending the proposals received through MLAs to the government, the District Magistrate should take regular updates of the work progress in them.
There should be continuous dialogue between the public representatives and the officers for speedy resolution of public problems. This is the purpose of review of works of public interest constituency-wise. Most of the public problems should be solved at the district level. Problems should be sent to the Mandal and Government level only when necessary.
The Chief Minister said that due to different geographical conditions, the problems of different areas are different. He said that work should be done expeditiously for the Manaskhand Corridor. There are many possibilities to develop Almora, Pithoragarh and Champawat districts from tourism point of view.
He asked the officers to conduct the work of cleaning drains and bush cutting regularly as a campaign. He instructed to speed up the works of Jal Jeevan Mission. The Chief Minister said that continuous efforts should be made towards simplification of complicated procedures. To simplify the procedures, the work done at the level of the departments will be reviewed soon.
In the meeting, the MLAs placed before the Chief Minister the construction and improvement of roads, construction of bridges, need for specialist doctors, work related to flood control and other problems of the area. The Chief Minister gave instructions to dispose of them immediately. Cabinet ministers Rekha Arya, Chandan Ramdas, MP Ajay Tamta, MLA Vishan Singh Chufal, Fakir Ram, Suresh Gadhiya, Pramod Nainwal, Mahesh Jina were present on the occasion.
Additional Chief Secretary Radha Raturi, Principal Secretary RK Sudhanshu, Secretaries R Meenakshi Sundaram, Nitesh Jha, Ranjit Sinha, HC Semwal and several Additional Secretaries and Kumaon Divisional Commissioner Deepak Rawat and concerned officers were present in the meeting through virtual medium.
