On Wednesday, Chief Minister Pushkar Singh Dhami inquired about the well being of the people injured in the bus accident in Simdi, Pauri at Kotdwar Base Hospital. Former Chief Minister and MP Dr. Ramesh Pokhriyal Nishank was also present on this occasion. The Chief Minister met the families of the injured at Kotdwar Base Hospital and said that all arrangements have been made by the government for the treatment of the injured. The Chief Minister took complete information from the doctors about the injured admitted in the hospital.
The Chief Minister also expressed his gratitude to the villagers who reached the spot as the first responder in the Simdi, Pauri bus accident. He said that first of all the nearby villagers reached and they helped in evacuating the injured. The Chief Minister has directed DM Pauri to provide incentive funds to encourage them by making a list of the villagers who have helped in evacuating the injured and the dead in the hour of calamity.
