CM Dhami inaugurated ‘Vijay’ scholarship.

On Wednesday, Chief Minister Pushkar Singh Dhami presented ‘Jyoti Scholarship’ for the meritorious students of economically weaker sections started by UPES at the University of Petroleum and Energy Studies (UPES) located in Bidhauli, Dehradun and with the aim of promoting sports and talented sportspersons. Launched ‘Vijay’ scholarship for For the promotion, preservation and study of the folk culture and traditions of Uttarakhand by UPES, ‘Center for Culture and Art’ and ‘Center for Indian Knowledge’ have been established with the aim of connecting the ancient Indian knowledge with the new generation, which was inaugurated by the Chief Minister on Wednesday. It was done in the presence of Shri Pushkar Singh Dhami.
Chief Minister Pushkar Singh Dhami said that with the coming of big institutions and universities in any region, not only the lives of the students studying in them, but also the lives of the people of the surrounding area are brought about by many changes. The livelihood resources of the people at the local level also increase. He said that the university will have to pay attention to what contribution can be made by UPES in the marginal areas and rural areas of Uttarakhand. He said that the scholarship has been started by UPES for the promising poor and talented sportspersons, it is a commendable effort.
Chief Minister Pushkar Singh Dhami said that the country is progressing rapidly in every field under the leadership of Prime Minister Narendra Modi. To fulfill the dreams of Prime Minister Narendra Modi, everyone will have to work as Karmayogi. Today India’s honor, respect and self-respect have increased in the world. Under the leadership of Prime Minister Narendra Modi, a great campaign of Kovid Vaccination was launched in India. More than 192 crore Kovid vaccinations were done in India, while India gave 200 million vaccines to other countries as well. National Education Policy-2020 has been brought in the country to bring revolutionary changes in education. It has been started from Bal Vatika in the state of Uttarakhand. On this occasion, the Chief Minister also extended Guru Purnima greetings to all the people of the state.
