On Friday, Chief Minister Pushkar Singh Dhami launched the Uttarakhand Police App and e-FIR service in the auditorium located at the Chief Minister’s Camp Office. A new Police App has been prepared by integrating 5 different online services of Uttarakhand Police. The Chief Minister said that better facilities would be available to the public through the Police App. He described it as a better effort made for public service with the mantra of simplification, solution and disposal. The Chief Minister said that this is also a commendable initiative of Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi to take the idea of ​​Smart Policing on the ground.
Giving instructions to give wide publicity to this app, the Chief Minister said that effective arrangements should be made through this to make Uttarakhand drug-free and to promote new tourist destinations along with Chardham. He said that for the convenience of the general public, apart from the police department, other departments should also make efforts through their online services. Our aim should be to provide better facilities to the people.
Director General of Police Ashok Kumar said that through the Uttarakhand Police App, all the online facilities being operated by the Uttarakhand Police for the general public have been integrated together, in which the online app- Gaura Shakti (Women related cases) operated by the Uttarakhand Police has been integrated. In the complaint of any officer of the district), traffic eye (information about violation of traffic rules by any person), public eye (violation of any safety related law rule), my journey (information related to Uttarakhand Char Dham and tourism related ) and Lakshya Nasha Mukt Uttarakhand (drug prevention and information related to it) have been provided to the general public by starting a single app called Uttarakhand Police App. In the Uttarakhand Police App, the emergency number 112 for the general public and the cyber help line number 1930 has also been added to register the complaint of cyber financial fraud with them.

He also informed that through the Uttarakhand Police App, now common citizens will be able to report their stolen vehicles/missing documents online from any district of Uttarakhand state by using web portal (citizen portal) or mobile phone. The report related to vehicle theft / missing documents will have to be filled according to the given details, the information given by the public will be received online immediately to the authorized cyber police station Dehradun for EFR registration, on which cyber police station Dehradun will take immediate action after seeing the complaint received on it. E.F.I.R. will be done.
