The Chief Minister has also directed to take strict action on the encroachment in the forest area or other areas in the state for hotels, resorts or religious works.
Along with the verification of madrasas of the state, the Chief Minister directed to take strict action in the cases of demographic change.
In the Secretariat on Sunday, Chief Minister Pushkar Singh Dhami reviewed in-depth with the high officials of the government on various subjects related to law and order, illegal encroachment, disaster etc. In the review meeting, all the Divisional Commissioners and District Magistrates were connected through video conferencing. The Chief Minister received information from the district wise district magistrates about the action being taken at their level and the efforts made to solve the problems.
The Chief Minister directed that after preparing a calendar of all the related points at the district level, their fortnightly or monthly review should be made available to the government.
The Chief Minister said that the image of the state has been tarnished by some recent incidents in the state. All officers should work with caution and responsibility in this direction so that such incidents do not recur.
He said that Devbhoomi is our state, here peace, peace and tranquility are the responsibility of all of us. He said that whoever the culprit is, he should not be spared. Do not bother those who work honestly. A close watch should be kept on those coming from outside the states. It should also be ensured that in future there is no problem due to population density of the state.
The Chief Minister said that for the speedy resolution of public problems, instructions were given to meet the public on no meeting day in the Secretariat on Monday and in hilly districts from 10 am to 1 pm. The District Magistrate should also ensure that no problems of the districts come to the Secretariat. For this, along with organizing a multipurpose camp Tehsil Day, he asked to ensure arrangements for listening to public problems in remote areas. In this regard, he asked to ensure the arrangement of e-Samadhan Choupal like Udham Singh Nagar. He also asked to prepare the details of the solutions to the problems done under simplification, solution resolution and satisfaction.
After getting information about the condition of the roads, the Chief Minister also directed to make the roads pothole-free by October 15. He also directed for effective control on illegal liquor, illegal mining. In view of the increasing number of dengue patients in the state, the Chief Minister directed to make effective arrangements for its prevention.
Chief Secretary Dr. SS Sandhu directed all the District Magistrates to ensure compliance of the instructions given by the Chief Minister. He said that the officers should identify right and wrong and take action to punish the guilty. Joint teams of revenue, forest and irrigation departments should be formed in illegal encroachments. Where encroachment is removed, it should also be ensured that there is no encroachment again.
Additional Chief Secretary Radha Raturi, Director General of Police Ashok Kumar, Special Principal Secretary Abhinav Kumar, Secretary Shailesh Bagoli, Sachin Kurve, Chandresh Yadav, Additional Secretary Atar Singh and other senior officers of police and virtually all Divisional Commissioners and District Magistrates were present in the meeting.
