Uttarakhand’s shine continues… 10 more medals including two gold medals, medal count reaches 77

Uttarakhand continued to rain medals on Monday with its excellent performance in the National Games. The state has got 10 medals including two gold medals. Due to which the medal count has increased to 77. These include 17 gold, 27 silver and 33 bronze medals. Ankita Dhyani won the gold medal in 3000 meter race and Siddharth Rawat in Judo. While Prakhar, Sahil Malik, Anu Kumar and Praveen won silver medals in four times 400 meter relay race. Bhagirathi Rawat, Aarna Chauhan and Shraddha Joshi won silver medals in the Modern Pentathlon Team event. At the same time, Pradeep Rawat won the silver medal in Judo men’s 73 kg category. While Ayush Mawadi in Judo Men’s 66 kg category, Diya Chaudhary and Jaya Kapoor in Lawn Tennis Women’s Double category, Bhagirathi Rawat in Modern Pentathlon Women’s Individual event, Kanishka Joshi, Ansh Bisht and Surya Patel in Men’s Team event of the same competition and Sunita Shrestha in Cycling won the bronze medal.
