Three more Muslim traders vacate shop in Purola, 12 completely left the city

After the District President of BJP Minority Morcha, the Divisional President of the Morcha has also vacated the shop on Sunday due to increasing tension after the incident of abduction of a minor girl.
At the same time, not a single shop of Muslim traders has opened since the incident. In fact, 14 Muslim traders have vacated their shops in the last few days. Of these, 12 traders have left Purola completely, while two traders who left the shop are staying at their houses in Purola.
On May 26, Hindu youth Jitendra Saini s/o Antar Saini and Muslim youth Uved Khan s/o Ahmed, residents of Bijnor, were arrested by the police on charges of abducting a minor girl. A case was registered against both of them under Paxo Act and both were sent to jail in judicial custody. After that the matter took the form of love jihad and there were protests in small and big towns of the district including Purola.
Devbhoomi Raksha Sangathan pasted posters outside the shops of Muslim traders in Purola on the night of June 4. In this, Maha Panchayat has been called on June 15 and before that Muslim traders were warned to vacate their shops, after which Muslim traders are leaving Purola.
District President of BJP Minority Morcha Zahid has left Purola four days ago after packing his belongings. BJP Minority Morcha Mandal President Shakeel Ahmed has also vacated his garments shop on Sunday. Shakeel Ahmed said that the landlord has asked to vacate the shop. That’s why the shop had to be vacated. He has been living in Purola for the last 45 years.
He has his own house in Purola, so most of the things have been kept at home. He has taken a loan of Rs.6 lakh from the bank and has lent Rs.5 lakh in the market. On the other hand, two shops have become vacant in Barkot. While the landlord has given notices to vacate three shops.

7 days judicial custody of youth caught with Hindu woman:
The police issued a challan under section 151 of the Police Act (disturbing the peace) against the Muslim youth who was caught with a Hindu woman on Saturday. After this, on Sunday, he was presented in the court of SDM Bhatwadi, from where the accused was sent to Tehri jail for seven days judicial custody.
In fact, on Saturday afternoon, the accused youth, Kasim Malik, resident of Najibabad Bijnor, along with a Hindu woman of Nepal origin, was caught by traders. There was also a girl child with the woman, whom the accused youth called his family at that time. On suspicion, the traders handed over the accused youth to the police. In this case, the police interrogated the woman and the youth.
The accused youth works as a mechanic in Kandisaur of Tehri Garhwal. Haven’t verified it yet. He knows the woman for about two months and took the mobile number from an acquaintance of the woman. On Saturday, the youth had come to Uttarkashi to meet the woman.
Kotwali Inspector Dinesh Kumar said that the woman told during interrogation that she knew that the youth was a Muslim. The woman’s husband is posted in ITBP. The accused youth has been challaned for breach of peace and sent to Tehri Jail in judicial custody for seven days.
