The state of Uttarakhand got the first prize in six categories in the presence of President Draupadi Murmu.

The state of Uttarakhand was awarded the first prize in six categories in the presence of President Draupadi Murmu at Vigyan Bhawan, New Delhi on Sunday. Union Jal Shakti Minister Gajendra Singh Shekhawat was also present on the occasion. These awards have been given on the occasion of Azadi Ki Amrit Mahotsav for doing outstanding work under Swachh Bharat Mission Rural.
The state of Uttarakhand has won first prizes in six categories including National Film Competition in Hilly Areas, Wall Painting Competition on ODF Plus “Biodegradable Waste Management”, Wall Painting Competition on ODF Plus “Govardhan”, Wall Painting Competition on ODF Plus. Got first position in “Plastic Waste Management”, Wall Painting Competition on ODF Plus “Grey Water Management” and Wall Painting Competition on ODF Plus “Fecal Sludge Management”. On behalf of the state, Mission Director of Swachh Bharat Mission Rural, Eva Ashish Srivastava and Additional Secretary Nitika Khandelwal received these awards from the tax lotus of the Union Minister.
On this occasion, many officers were present on behalf of the state, including District Development Officer Dehradun, District Panchayat Officer Dehradun, District Development Officer Champawat, Project Officer Almora, District Officer Chamoli, Chief Development Officer Pauri Garhwal, District Development Officer Champawat and on behalf of the state. The award was received by Sambandh Virendra Bhatt, Sanjay Pandey.
