The 12th edition of Young Uttarakhand Cine Award was organized on 31 August 2024 at Jawaharlal Nehru Stadium, New Delhi. More than 5000 spectators participated in the program. Young Uttarakhand Cine Award has been organizing grand events for the last 12 years to honor folk artists working for the Uttarakhand music film industry.
This year the award for the best singer went to folk singer Saurav Maithani (Pahadon Ko Rebasi) song. Gulabi Sarara, Khola Paari, Motima songs were also in this best singer category. Out of these songs, Saurav Maithani was selected as the best singer.
Singers Saurav Maithani and Mamta Arya have received the Young Uttarakhand Cine Awards 2024. Maithani was given this honor for the song Pahadon Ko Raibaasi and Mamta for Rangbhaang.
Young Uttarakhand Cine Awards were presented in various categories in a program held in New Delhi on Saturday. Many celebrities from the field of Uttarakhandi film, music, and theater attended the program held at Jawaharlal Nehru Auditorium in New Delhi.
Young Uttarakhand Cine Award is the biggest award show of the regional cinema and music world of Uttarakhand. It is the biggest platform for encouraging the new generation of artists in Uttarakhand. The Young Uttarakhand program has been organized in Delhi for many years. During this, the Young Uttarakhand Cine Awards were given to the artists on stage for their outstanding contributions to film and music in 2023.
During this, comedian Ghananand alias Ghanna Bhai was awarded the Young Uttarakhand Life Time Cine Awards, and famous folk singer and lyricist Santosh Khetwal was awarded the Gopal Babu Goswami Legendary Singer Award.
