Review meeting regarding Sashakt Uttarakhand @25, many secretaries were missing, CS summoned and reprimanded them

Chief Secretary Radha Raturi summoned the secretaries who were missing from the review meeting to her office and reprimanded them. She expressed deep displeasure over the tendency of sending subordinates in their place in review meetings and warned of strict action against it. The Chief Secretary had called a review meeting of the technical committee of Sashakt Uttarakhand @25 in her office on Monday. The progress of work on the roadmap for the development of the state was to be reviewed in the meeting, but the secretaries of many departments did not attend this meeting. They sent additional secretaries or subordinate officers in their place. The Chief Secretary got angry at the absence of secretaries in the meeting. She instructed all departmental secretaries to immediately appear in their office. Information was sent to all the secretaries on phone from the Chief Secretary’s office. As soon as the instructions of the CS were received, the secretaries appeared in his office one by one. The Chief Secretary has expressed strong displeasure over not taking the review meetings seriously. She issued instructions for the mandatory presence of secretaries in the meetings. Officers of all departments including Principal Secretary RK Sudhanshu and Secretary R Meenakshi Sundaram were present in the meeting.

Instructions to fulfill the goals of Strong Uttarakhand
CS instructed all departments to fulfill the goals of Strong Uttarakhand @25 with top priority and utmost seriousness. He instructed to regularly review the goals given to each department. He instructed to review the implementation of the action plans made department wise on priority basis and to expedite the future action plan. He said, all the department heads will fulfill all the development goals in the remaining time.
