Incubation centers will be set up in every district of Uttarakhand, the government has set up a venture fund.

Incubation centers will be set up in every district in the next five years to create and support new startups in the state. The government has set up the Uttarakhand Venture Fund with Rs 200 crore to promote startups. The government is setting up a world-class Uttarakhand Innovation Hub at the IT Park in Dehradun at a cost of Rs 60 crore for all nodal incubation centers. Chief Minister Pushkar Singh Dhami has called upon the youth to come forward to start startups in the state. On Sunday, Chief Minister Pushkar Singh Dhami attended the Startup Samvad program under the Chief Servant Samvad at the Chief Servant House. During this, he said that the government has set a target of preparing one thousand startups by setting up incubation centers in every district in the next five years. Incubation centers are centers that provide support and guidance to startups and budding businesses. These centers provide startups with the resources necessary for their development in the initial stage such as office space, mentoring, financing and networking opportunities. The Chief Minister said that the government has also implemented entrepreneurship-related courses in universities and colleges. Along with this, a dedicated startup portal has been launched. The state government is providing financial assistance, technical guidance and infrastructure support to startups. The startup ecosystem is being properly developed in the state. New startups are being promoted by setting up Centers of Excellence in the state. All the incubation centers in the state have been linked to educational institutions. Due to the efforts of the state government, the Government of India has recognized more than 1300 startups. Chief Minister Dhami said that the youth have to become job givers and not job seekers. A new work culture has been infused in the country.
