CM Pushkar Singh Dhami hoisted the flag and children took out the tricolor

The 75th Independence Day was celebrated with pomp across the country as well as in Uttarakhand on Monday. The tricolor was hoisted in schools and offices. Cultural programs were organized after taking out Prabhat Pheri in the schools. The national flag was hoisted with the tricolor Aan, Baan and Shaan at various places.
Where Chief Minister Pushkar Singh Dhami hoisted the tricolor and greeted the people of the state on Independence Day. After this he went to the summer capital Gairsain and participated in the program here too. Governor Lt Gen Gurmeet Singh (Seni) unfurled the National Flag at Raj Bhavan.
During this, the Governor greeted the people of the country and the state and distributed sweets after meeting the Raj Bhavan employees. He saluted the freedom fighters and martyr soldiers on completion of 75 years of independence.
Said that the country can never forget his contribution. He said that in the coming 25 years, every Indian will have to make efforts towards making the country a world guru with full sincerity.
Garhwal MP Tirath Singh Rawat hoisted the flag near Badrinath Temple, ITBP Camp, Sheshnetra Lake. He reached Mana, the last village of the country and reached the last shop of Hindustan.
In Rishikesh tehsil, Deputy District Magistrate Shailendra Singh Negi hoisted the national flag. On this occasion, relatives of freedom fighters, kin of sacrificed soldiers and citizens who have done remarkable work in various fields were honored by the Tehsil.
School children also presented cultural programs on the occasion. Tehsildar Dr. Amrita Sharma was also present on this occasion. Mayor Anita Mangai hoisted the national flag in the Municipal Corporation of Rishikesh.
In Mussoorie, public flag hoisting was done by Municipal President Anuj Gupta at Gandhi Chowk. On this occasion, representatives of various social and political parties including former Municipal President Manmohan Singh Mall, OP Uniyal, Palika EO UD Tiwari, Councilor Darshan Rawat, Geeta Kumain, Jasbir Kaur, Sarita Devi, Municipal Health Officer and prominent citizens of the city were present.
Social worker in village Deriyakhal in Lansdowne. For the first time, a public flag hoisting program was organized in the statue of Leelanand Lakheda. A large number of members and villagers, including the office bearers of the Hotel Association, were present in the program.
School students took out Prabhat Pheri on the occasion of Amrit Mahotsav of Independence Day, 75th anniversary of Independence Day in Uttarkashi. Since morning, morning parade was taken out at places like Uttarkashi, Chinyalisaur, Dunda, Brahmakhal, Barkot, Purola, Naugaon, Damta etc. The city lane and main road in Uttarkashi district headquarters resonated with patriotic slogans.
