CM Dhami inaugurated the Apni Sarkar portal, said – priority is being given to land records digitization in the state

Chief Minister Pushkar Singh Dhami inaugurated the Information and Communication Technology enabled services at the Mukhya Sevak Sadan located at the Chief Minister’s Camp Office on Tuesday. On this occasion, he said that priority is being given to works like digitization of land records, online education, e-health services in the state. He said that 886 services are available online on the Apni Sarkar portal, in which facilities are being provided to remote areas through services like e-district portal, CM dashboard, smart classroom, e-learning platform, telemedicine and e-Sanjeevani.

Telecommunication connectivity has reached 95 percent of the villages in the state. The Chief Minister said that the Next-Generation Data Center will have a special mechanism of disaster recovery, which will ensure data security and continuity of services even in times of disaster. Research, innovation and technical training will be promoted in the state under the AI Mission. He said that remote sensing and drone application center will bring revolutionary changes in disaster management, agriculture, forest and urban planning. At the same time, the establishment of a special IT cadre will promote technical expertise in the state and bring efficiency in government functioning.

On this occasion, MLA Khajan Das, Principal Secretary L. Fanai, Secretary Nitesh Jha, Dr. Ranjit Kumar Sinha, Director General UCAST Prof. Durgesh Pant, Municipal Commissioner Dehradun Namami Bansal and departmental officers were present.
