CM Dhami did a road show in Chennai, signed MoUs worth Rs 10150 crore; Now the picture will change

The state government has again achieved great success in attracting investors ahead of the Global Investors Conference. Investment agreements worth Rs 10150 crore were signed with various industrial groups in the presence of Chief Minister Pushkar Singh Dhami at the Chennai Road Show. These mainly include agreements with industries in the health, service, pharma and energy sectors. The Chief Minister also invited all the investors for the Global Investors Conference to be held on December 8 and 9.

Agreement signed for investment of Rs 10150 crore
In the road show held in Chennai on Thursday, Rs 4000 crore with Infinity Global, Rs 1000 crore with July Ventures, Rs 1000 crore with Kshana Group for cancer hospital, Rs 1000 crore with Sarvodaya Group of Hotels, Rs 1000 crore with Craft Smith India, Investment agreements worth Rs 600 crore were signed with SRM University, Rs 500 crore with Refex Group, Rs 250 crore with Infla Movi Group, Rs 500 crore with Apollo Hospital, Rs 200 crore with TPCI and Rs 100 crore with Miltex Group.

Special relationship between Tamil Nadu and Uttarakhand
Addressing the road show, Chief Minister Pushkar Singh Dhami said that Tamil Nadu and Uttarakhand are spiritually related. Jyotirlingas of Lord Shiva are present in Rameshwaram in Tamil Nadu and Kedarnath in Uttarakhand. He said that Uttarakhand and Tamil Sangam will be taken forward.

CM informed about the merits of Uttarakhand
While giving information about the merits of Uttarakhand to the investors, the Chief Minister said that apart from being a world class tourist destination, there is immense potential for investment in areas like food processing, auto component manufacturing, education and health. Uttarakhand is being made active and investment friendly with the basic mantra of Peace to Prosperity. Sectors like tourism, wellness, AYUSH, pharma as well as alternative energy and information and science technology have been included as focus sectors in the state.

CM Dhami said that the road shows organized so far are getting encouraging response from the country and abroad. Cabinet ministers Satpal Maharaj and Saurabh Bahuguna also addressed the investors conference. Secretary R Meenakshi Sundaram, Sachin Kurve, Dr R Rajesh Kumar and Director General Industries Rohit Meena were also present in the programme.
