Australian filmmakers showed interest in shooting in Uttarakhand, new film policy made

Various national and international national film producers showed interest in film shooting and investment in the state at the Uttarakhand Pavilion at the Film Bazaar 2023 under the 54th International Film Festival of India held in Goa. Now shooting of films will be promoted in Uttarakhand. Dr. Nitin Upadhyay, Nodal Officer of Uttarakhand Film Development Council, said that as per the instructions of Chief Minister Pushkar Singh Dhami, a favorable environment is being created for film shooting and investment in the film industry in the state. In this series, a Global Investors Conference is being organized in the state in the coming December.

New film policy has also been proposed
A new film policy has also been proposed by the Uttarakhand government from the investment point of view. Information related to film shooting and investment was given in the Uttarakhand Pavilion at the Film Bazaar 2023 organized in Goa. According to Nodal Officer Upadhyay, actress and director Marion Borga, who came from Paris, appreciated the film policy of Uttarakhand.

Australian filmmakers will also shoot the film
Uttarakhand-origin director Anupam Sharma, who came from Australia, said that he is planning film shooting and investment in the state in collaboration with Australian filmmakers. Chief Secretary in Maharashtra Government, Chief Minister Vikas Kharge also visited the Uttarakhand Pavilion. He said that Uttarakhand and Maharashtra governments will prepare an action plan among themselves, so that film, art and culture can be exchanged between the two states.
