Tuhin Sharma, Jagran Dehradun. Doon-Mussoorie Ropeway: Construction has begun on approximately 20 of the 26 towers being built under the Doon-Mussoorie Ropeway project. After leveling the upper terminal being constructed at Gandhi Chowk in Mussoorie, steel binding work is underway.
A road is being built to access the ropeway from Gandhi Chowk. Meanwhile, construction of the three towers of the lower terminal station in Purukul is progressing rapidly. Three floors of parking have already been completed, and work on the fourth floor will begin soon. The Tourism Department claims that it will be completed and operational by the end of 2026.
