The ex-gratia amount to be given to the Param Vir Chakra winners will now be given Rs 1.5 crore. Till now this amount was Rs 50 lakh. Apart from this, they will continue to get three lakh rupees as annual grant amount. Said that before June 2022, the ex-gratia amount to be given to the Param Vir Chakra winner was Rs 30 lakh. The cabinet decided to increase this amount to 50 lakhs on 10 June 2022. After this, a government order was also issued in this regard on 14 July 2022. Now CM Pushkar Singh Dhami has increased the lump sum amount from Rs 50 lakh to Rs 1.5 crore.
