CM Dhami approves Sainik Welfare proposal, Param Vir Chakra winners will now get an amount of one and a half crores

On the eve of Kargil Vijay Diwas, the Dhami government has given a gift to the soldiers. Param Vir Chakra winners will now be given an ex-gratia of Rs 1.5 crore by the government. Till now this amount was Rs 50 lakh. Apart from this, they will also continue to get an amount of three lakh rupees as an annual grant. Chief Minister Pushkar Singh Dhami has approved this proposal of the Sainik Welfare Department. Chief Minister Dhami had announced an increase in the ex-gratia amount to the Param Vir Chakra winners at the Sainik Samman ceremony organized on the occasion of the death anniversary of his father Subedar Sher Singh Dhami in Khatima. Earlier, an ex-gratia of Rs 30 lakh was given to the Param Vir Chakra winner. The cabinet had increased this amount to Rs 50 lakh on June 10, 2022. Now Chief Minister Dhami has increased the lump sum amount of Rs 50 lakh to Rs 1.5 crore.
