Dhami government celebrated the grounding of one lakh crore, Amit Shah praised the efforts of the state government

In the presence of Union Home Minister Amit Shah, organized in Rudrapur on Saturday, the Pushkar Singh Dhami government celebrated the successful grounding of one lakh crore rupees in the form of investment after the Global Investor Summit held in Uttarakhand in December 2023. On this occasion, Home Minister Amit Shah praised the efforts of the state government and assured full support from the central government. Addressing the Uttarakhand Investment Festival – 2025, organized at Sports Stadium Rudrapur, Home Minister Amit Shah, referring to the closing ceremony of the Uttarakhand Global Investor Summit held in December 2023, said that he had then told Uttarakhand Chief Minister Pushkar Singh Dhami that the real feat of the state government would be to bring the MoUs of three lakh 56 thousand crores signed in the summit to the ground, but now he is happy that despite all the challenges, the team of Chief Minister Pushkar Singh Dhami has brought an investment of one lakh crore on the ground today. This has cleared the way for the creation of 81 thousand new jobs. Along with this, there is hope of creation of more than two and a half lakh new jobs through ancillary industries. Home Minister Amit Shah said that industries are also being set up in second and third tier cities of Uttarakhand. The state government has been successful in drawing a new blueprint of development with transparency in policy, intensity in implementation and foresight in vision, while establishing a balance between development and environment. He said that the Atal Bihari Vajpayee government worked to create three new states in the form of Uttarakhand, Jharkhand and Chhattisgarh. Today, these three states are standing on their own feet. After the formation of the Modi government at the Center after 2014, a double engine government has been running continuously in Uttarakhand. He said that Prime Minister Narendra Modi has created new records in every field by drawing a blueprint of development across the country. Atal ji had left the country’s economy at number 11, Modi ji has brought it to number four. Now in 2027, we are going to become the third largest economy in the world. Modi ji has brought 25 crore people above the poverty line. The Modi government is providing food security to the poor by giving five kg of free food grains, as well as providing free treatment up to five lakh rupees to 55 crore people. During this period, tap water reached 16 crore houses for the first time, toilets were provided to 12 crore houses, free LPG cylinders were provided to 13 crore families. During the tenure of the Modi government, electricity reached three crore houses for the first time, four crore people were given pucca houses.
The Union Home Minister said that Modi ji has envisioned a developed India by 2047, but it is not possible to achieve the goal of developed India without a developed Uttarakhand. For the overall development of the country, development of the states of the North East including small states is also necessary. The government is paying special attention to this.

He said that Prime Minister Modi ji leaves no stone unturned in the development of Uttarakhand, praising the efforts of the Pushkar Singh Dhami government, he said how many efforts were made to promote investment in this small state, including tourism, MSME, startup, film policy, which has created an environment for investment in the state. In the coming times, Ayurveda, yoga, natural treatment and organic farming will become the basis of the development of Uttarakhand. Praising Chief Minister Pushkar Singh Dhami for the successful grounding of Rs 1 lakh crore, he said that the remaining investment target should be worked on without getting tired, the central government is ready to give full cooperation in this work. On this occasion, Chief Minister Pushkar Singh Dhami, while welcoming Union Home and Cooperation Minister Amit Shah, said that today we are celebrating the successful grounding of more than one lakh crore rupees at the Uttarakhand Global Investment Summit. He said that today’s celebration is not just an economic investment, but a reflection of Uttarakhand’s rich potential, spirit of entrepreneurship and inclusive development based on public participation, which will take the state to new heights of self-reliance and industrial prosperity.
The Chief Minister said that out of investment agreements of more than Rs 3.56 lakh crore under the Global Investors Summit 2023, success has been achieved in grounding investment proposals worth more than Rs 1 lakh crore. Today Uttarakhand is touching new heights in the field of investment, innovation and industrial development. He said that to realize the resolve of the Prime Minister of developed India, work is being done in a planned manner in the country.
The Chief Minister said that the state government is continuously working towards industrial development in the state. A better environment is being provided to industries in the state by implementing more than 30 policies including industrial policy, logistics policy, startup policy, MSME policy. A venture fund of Rs 200 crore has been established for startups. The facility of ‘Investment Friend’ is being provided to promote investment in the state.
