There is no mercy for the corrupt in Uttarakhand: Government is strict, CM Dhami gave free hand to Vigilance to take action

Chief Minister Pushkar Singh Dhami has attacked corruption by giving free hand to Vigilance to take action. In four years, Vigilance arrested 94 in 82 cases of corruption. On the basis of strong evidence of corruption, Vigilance has been successful in getting the accused punished by the court in 71 percent of the cases. The effect of Chief Minister Pushkar Singh Dhami’s strict stand on zero tolerance against corruption is visible in the action of Vigilance. In the last four years, arrests of accused in corruption cases have increased. Vigilance took action in a total of 82 cases and arrested 94. This includes 13 gazetted officers.
