Uttarakhand Chief Minister Dhami planted paddy in Khatima, said – remembered the old days

Uttarakhand Chief Minister Pushkar Singh Dhami planted paddy in a field in Khatima on Saturday. He posted on Instagram saying that farmers are not only the backbone of our economy but also the bearers of culture and tradition.

He further wrote that by planting paddy in his field in Nagara Terai of Khatima and experiencing the hard work, sacrifice and dedication of the farmers, I remembered the old days. Annadaatas are not only the backbone of our economy but also the bearers of culture and tradition. He further wrote that on this occasion, through the rich cultural tradition of Uttarakhand “Hudkiya Baul”, he also worshiped the god of land Bhumiyan, the god of water Indra, the god of shadow Megh. CM Dhami also shared pictures from the field. In the pictures, he was seen in a rice field filled with mud and water with a stick and the reins of two bulls who were plowing the field in his hands.
