The courses will be included as academic credit in all government and private higher education institutions of Uttarakhand. Also, a model college in each district will be developed as a mentor institution. With this, about 1.5 lakh students of the state will get information in areas like Artificial Intelligence, Data Science, Cyber Security, Python, Generative through Future Skills Prime Platform and skill development will be possible. On Wednesday, Setu Commission signed three important agreements in the presence of Chief Minister Pushkar Singh Dhami. Under this, Setu Commission and Tata Trust signed an agreement to work in the areas of social development. Under this, Tata Trust will work together in areas like water management, nutrition, telemedicine and green energy for 10 years.
Under the agreement with NASSCOM to make the state a digital center, students will be connected through Future Skills Prime Platform.
Under the agreement made with Wadhwani Foundation for three years, courses will be included in all government higher education institutions of the state with academic credit from the next session. Its objective is to provide assistance to 1.20 lakh students of the state in artificial intelligence based personality development and self-employment related skill development. Chief Minister Pushkar Singh Dhami said that these three agreements will be very useful for the people of the state. These agreements are important steps towards preparing human resources full of modern skills in Uttarakhand and making the state a modern artificial intelligence and cyber security hub. AI based curriculum will prove effective in enhancing employment oriented skills of the students of the state and developing soft skills for the 21st century. On this occasion, Cabinet Minister Dr. Dhan Singh Rawat, Vice Chairman of Setu Commission Raj Shekhar Joshi, Chief Secretary Anand Bardhan, CEO of Setu Commission Shatrughan Singh, CEO of Tata Trust Siddharth Sharma, CEO of NASSCOM Skill Council Abhilasha Gaur, Executive Vice President of Wadhwani Foundation Sunil Dahiya, Secretary Ranjit Sinha, Secretary Radhika Jha, Nitesh Jha, Chandresh Yadav, V Shanmugam and C Ravishankar were present.
