International Yoga Festival starting from March 1 in Rishikesh, focus will be on many things along with fitness

International Yoga Festival will be organized in Rishikesh from March 1 to 7. Preparations are going on in full swing to make the festival grand. In the event, renowned yogacharyas, sadhaks and participants from the country and abroad will practice yoga asanas and meditation methods. Vishal Mishra, Managing Director of Garhwal Mandal Development Corporation (GMVN), while giving information, said that as per the instructions of Chief Minister Pushkar Singh Dhami, with the aim of establishing Uttarakhand as the global capital of yoga, the International Yoga Festival is being organized by GMVN and Tourism Department at Ganga Resort, Rishikesh from March 1 to March 7.

It will be inaugurated by Chief Minister Pushkar Singh Dhami on March 1. In the event, renowned yogacharyas, sadhaks and participants from the country and abroad will give yoga training in various sessions every day. Apart from this, there will also be cultural programs and discourses of spiritual saints. Eminent personalities of the spiritual world will also share their views in the festival.

12 athletes will reach from Devbhoomi in the national competition

Dehradun: 12 athletes from Uttarakhand will participate in the 20th National Youth Athletics Competition to be held in Patna (Bihar) from 10 to 12 March. At the same time, the players who perform well in this competition will be selected for the Indian Youth Team. Which will participate in the 6th Asian (Under-18) Athletics Competition to be held in Saudi Arabia from 15 to 18 April.
