SOP of medical colleges will come into existence from the new year, there will be relief for patients

The system will improve in the hospitals associated with the state government medical colleges. Difficulties in getting beds to patients will be removed. Along with this, the emergency medical system will be improved. SOP (Standard Operating Procedure) will be prepared for this. On the instructions of the Medical Education Minister, the department is taking action in this regard. The implementation of this system will start from the first month of the new year.
The state government medical colleges and hospitals associated with them are currently operating according to separate systems. The state government is in favor of operating them according to a unified SOP. This will help in improving the system. All doctors and personnel will have to compulsorily follow it.

Attendance will be recorded through biometrics
Attendance will be recorded through biometrics in hospitals and colleges. Along with this, a clear outline will be made for the discharge of the tasks and responsibilities of doctors and employees. Action will be taken for violating the SOP. The menu of food given daily to the patients admitted in the hospital will be pasted in each ward. Medical Education Minister Dr. Dhan Singh Rawat said that the objective of the SOP is to improve the system of medical colleges and associated hospitals. The nursing in-charge of the ward and the college superintendent will be responsible for the cleanliness arrangements. There will be continuous monitoring of the food given to the patients. Medical Education Secretary Dr. R Rajesh Kumar said that the SOP is being prepared. He said that the SOP will focus on timely discharge of patients admitted in the hospital after treatment, so that there is no unnecessary delay in the admission of new patients. Emergency arrangements are also being improved. Also, provisions are being made in the SOP to improve the facilities of patients coming for regular checkup.
