Women will soon get employment on a total of 6559 vacant posts including 374 Anganwadi workers and 6185 assistants in the state. Women Empowerment and Child Development Minister Rekha Arya issued instructions to make appointments on these posts on Thursday. Women Empowerment and Child Development Minister Rekha Arya held a meeting with departmental officials at the National Sports Secretariat located at Rajiv Gandhi International Cricket Stadium. She said that Anganwadi centers were upgraded in almost all the districts of the state, due to which the assistants posted there became Anganwadi workers. Due to this, the posts of assistants became vacant. Recently, after the amendment in the Anganwadi Recruitment Rules from the Cabinet, its government order has been issued. This has cleared the way for recruitment on these vacant posts. The department will issue a notification for recruitment in the next one or two days. Applications will be sought online for these posts. Women candidates will be given about 30 days to apply. Departmental officials have been instructed to complete the process quickly in this regard.
Send proposals for facilities in Anganwadi centers within five days
Cabinet Minister Rekha Arya also reviewed the Nanda Gaura scheme and other schemes. During this, she directed to ensure mandatory availability of drinking water, electricity and toilets in Anganwadi centers as per the new standards. District program officers of all 13 districts who were virtually connected to the meeting have been asked to send proposals to the directorate regarding providing these facilities in all Anganwadi centers within five days. The minister said that the budget will be released soon in this regard.
Applications should be sought for Nanda Gaura Yojana till 31st
He reviewed the applications received so far in the Nanda Gaura scheme and directed all the districts to get maximum applications by 31st December and increase the number of beneficiaries as compared to last year. The minister has also given instructions to personally contact all the applicants whose applications have been returned due to any deficiency and to get the applications again in time.
Excuses will not be tolerated in the construction of Anganwadi buildings. The construction of 3940 Anganwadi buildings proposed in the state was reviewed in the meeting. The departmental minister warned that no excuses will be tolerated regarding the construction of Anganwadi buildings. If land is not available at any place, then mark such a place for Anganwadi center where land is available. Secretary Chandresh Yadav, Director Prashant Arya, Deputy Director Vikram Singh, Mohit Chaudhary, Aarti Balodi, Uday Pratap Singh were present in the meeting.
