All the programs of Uttarakhand State Foundation Day will now be celebrated with simplicity. Chief Minister Pushkar Singh Dhami said that the road accident in Marchula, Almora is a big grief for the people of the state. Therefore, the government has decided to celebrate all the programs of State Foundation Day with simplicity. All cultural programs to be held on November 8 have been canceled. The Chief Minister said that all the cultural programs proposed on November 8 to commemorate the State Foundation Day will be postponed and programs of service and cleanliness will be organized across the state. Cultural programs will not be organized even during the big functions, inauguration and foundation stone laying programs organized under the State Foundation Day. In a meeting with the Roadways officials in the Secretariat, he directed to run additional buses on the routes of the hilly areas. He said that how many buses will be required to be operated should be assessed within 10 days. Arrangements should be made in those areas by purchasing new buses as per the requirement. The CM said that in view of the festivals, arrangements should be made in areas where additional buses are required. It should be ensured that such incidents do not recur. The Chief Minister had already directed that crash barriers should be installed on the roads for safety. He directed that the officers who are negligent in this work should be called for an answer.
The government will take care of Shivani who lost her parents
The responsibility of the care and education of Shivani, who lost her parents in a bus accident, will now be of the state government. Chief Minister Pushkar Singh Dhami gave instructions to the officials in this regard. He said that the government will help daughter Shivani so that she can move forward in life and fulfill the dreams of herself and her parents.
The responsibility of the outpost in-charges will also be fixed
The CM took strict cognizance of the road accident in Marchula, Almora and directed to fix the responsibility of the outpost in-charges as well. He said that if any negligence is seen on their part, action should be taken against them.
