The Uttarakhand government is continuously working for the development of sports and players in the state. Players who win medals at the national and international level are being promoted in out of turn government jobs and so far 31 players have been appointed in government departments. Sports infrastructure is being strengthened along with encouragement to the players, so that Uttarakhand can become a factory of players. These things were said by Chief Minister Pushkar Singh Dhami in a program organized on Sports Day.
