Defense Minister and former BJP national president Rajnath Singh will address the Prabuddha Sammelan organized here on behalf of the BJP on Monday evening.
According to BJP’s state media in-charge Manveer Singh Chauhan, the enlightened conference will be held in the Survey Auditorium. Apart from former military officers and jawans, directors of various educational institutions, former bureaucrats, scientists, experts in different fields, senior citizens, senior business people and workers of various organizations have been invited to the conference.
Traffic plan issued for Defense Minister’s visit:
The traffic police has issued a traffic plan regarding the visit of Defense Minister Rajnath Singh to Dehradun. Under which vehicular traffic can be restricted, diverted and stopped on some routes on Hathibarkala Marg, Cantt Road, GMS Road, ISBT Marg, St Jude’s Chowk from 3.30 pm to 5.30 pm.
The traffic police has appealed that in view of the Defense Minister’s program, avoid using two- and four-wheelers on Monday or use link routes. Along with this, officers and employees working in government and non-government offices located in the district should leave for their destinations only after 5.30 pm.
