Chief Minister Trivendra Singh Rawat said that youth commission will come into existence in the state soon. The budget has been arranged for the formation of the commission. On the birth anniversary of Chief Minister Swami Vivekananda, he was interacting with the youth of the state. Vivekananda’s birth anniversary was celebrated in the state as Yuva Chetana Day.

During the dialogue, the Chief Minister said that Swami Vivekananda gave a motto ‘Wake up and do not stop till the goal is achieved’. He said that Vivekananda’s life philosophy will always be a source of inspiration for the youth. The youth shared their experiences in dialogue. How can youth benefit from government schemes? What efforts should be made to take the state on a faster progress path.

People should know about the government’s plans even in remote areas, the youth gave their suggestions on all these issues. He said that the youth will not have to be limited to employment, but they will have to connect other people with employment. There is also ample scope in the state for self-employment. More efforts are needed in the direction of value addition of products and how to use natural resources better.

Education Minister Arvind Pandey said that the sports policy of Uttarakhand is going to be published soon. So that the youth will get more opportunities to make their future in the field of sports. Minister of State for Higher Education, Dr. Dhan Singh Rawat said that poor meritorious children will be given the Chief Minister’s Research Fellow Award. One crore rupees have been approved for the coaching of IAS and PCS for poor children with an annual income of up to Rs 2.5 lakh. On this occasion, Additional Chief Secretary Radha Raturi, Secretary Radhika Jha, Kumaon Commissioner Arvind Singh Hayanki, all District Magistrates and Youth were present through virtual medium.

Suggestions of youth will be part of government policy:
The Chief Minister directed all the District Collectors to collect suggestions received from the youth during the dialogue. He said that the important ideas of the youth can be helpful in making policy decisions for the government.
