The trial process for the women’s cricket teams of Uttarakhand will start from October 16.



The trial process for the women’s cricket teams of the Cricket Association of Uttarakhand will begin on October 16. Trials will be conducted in three phases for the Association’s Senior Under-23 and Under-19 teams. The CAU secretary gave detailed information about the trial program on Wednesday.

According to CAU Secretary Mahim Verma, trials will be held at GSR Cricket Ground, Shimla Bypass, Ganeshpur, Dehradun. Cricketers joining the trials of the senior cricket team will have to register offline by October 15.
The first phase of trial will be held on October 16 and second on October 17. In this, the cricketers to be shortlisted will get a chance to participate in the final trials on October 18 and 19. Offline registration can be done by October 21 for the under-23 team.

On 22, the first and 23 will be in the second phase of the trial, in which the shortlisted cricketers will be able to appear in the final trials on October 24 and 25. The same under-19 trial can be registered offline by October 27.

The final trials will be held on October 30 and 31:
The first phase of trial will be held on October 28 and second on October 29. While the final trials will be held on October 30 and 31. Under-23 and under-19 participants can also apply in the senior category. For this, 15 under-19 cricketers and under-23 cricketers will have to register offline by 21 October.

Women’s Video Analyst Workshop Started:
A video analyst workshop is being organized by the Cricket Association of Uttarakhand at the hotel on ISBT Road. In this, 15 women are being groomed as video analysts.

Secretary Mahim Verma said that experts Shashi Kumar and Mala R will train women. He said that Uttarakhand is the first state to organize a video analyst workshop for women. In view of the shortage of women analysts in the country, CAU has taken this initiative.
