Weather pattern started changing in Uttarakhand, chill started increasing in morning and evening

The weather in the state has remained dry since the departure of monsoon and bright sunshine is shining throughout the day in most of the areas. However, cold is now being felt in the morning and evening. Chill has started increasing in the morning in the mountainous areas and the minimum temperature is continuously decreasing in the plains. The mercury has reached 18 degrees Celsius at night in Doon. According to the Meteorological Department, there is a possibility of further decrease in mercury in the next few days. From the mountain to the plains, the temperature in the morning and evening can decrease by up to two degrees Celsius. Due to bright sunshine throughout the day, mild heat is being felt in the afternoon. However, the minimum temperature has started falling. The mercury has decreased by two degrees Celsius in the last two days. According to the Director of Meteorological Center, Bikram Singh, the weather may remain dry in Uttarakhand for the next few days. There may be partial clouds in some places. After October 15, the mercury is expected to fall further.

Cold begins in the lake city
Mild cold has started in Nainital. The weather remained normal during the day on Friday. The maximum temperature was recorded at 23 degrees Celsius.

The city was sunny since morning, which continued till evening. However, light clouds covered the sky for some time and then moved away. Mild cold was felt after sunset. Due to which people were forced to wear warm woolen clothes.

Water level of the lake stable at 11.9 feet
According to the Meteorological Department, the night temperature will continue to fall. For now the weather will remain normal. Here the water level of Naini Lake is stable at 11.9 feet. According to GIC Meteorological Center, the maximum temperature of the city was 23 and minimum 14 degree Celsius. Maximum humidity was recorded at 80 and minimum at 55 percent.

Tourist crowds started pouring in during winter season

Tourists have started arriving during winter tourist season. The arrival of Bengali tourists is very less, while groups of school children have arrived in large numbers. There is a possibility of an increase in the arrival of tourists on Saturday. Tourists started arriving from Friday morning itself, which continued till late night. Meanwhile, traffic was slightly affected. School children are arriving in large numbers in groups.

The hotels located in the main places are packed. There was a lot of movement of tourists in the tourist places of the city. There was a continuous stream of tourists boating in Naini Lake. There was a crowd of tourists in the markets of the city including Bhotia Bazaar. There was a lot of crowd in Snowview, Raj Bhavan, Zoo, Himalaya Darshan and Cave Garden. In the evening, tourists had arrived to see the sunset in Hanumangarhi. Tourists had also arrived in large numbers at the tourist places near the city, Khurpatal, Saritatal, Pangot and Kainchi Dham. According to Hotel Association President Digvijay Singh Bisht, the influx of tourists has started increasing due to the winter tourism season. The influx of tourists will continue like this till Diwali.
