He expressed this assurance in his speech welcoming the President at the special session of the Legislative Assembly held on Monday to commemorate the silver jubilee of the state’s establishment. The Chief Minister expressed his gratitude to President Draupadi Murmu for addressing the session. He said that the President’s entire life is a unique example of struggle, dedication, and service to the nation. Her personality embodies a unique combination of motherly affection, a resolve to serve, and an unwavering devotion to the nation. The President has always prioritized the welfare of the most marginalized and worked for the empowerment of the deprived, exploited, and backward sections of society. The Chief Minister said that despite facing extremely difficult circumstances in her personal life, President Murmu always worked with the spirit of nation first. As the Governor of Jharkhand, following the ideals of Lord Birsa Munda, she played an unforgettable role in the upliftment of tribal society. He said that President Murmu’s address to the State Assembly will be etched in golden letters in the history of the state. Her inspiring words will continue to guide Uttarakhand’s progress for the next 25 years. He said that Uttarakhand is going to complete 25 years of its establishment on November 9. This historic occasion is not only a moment of pride for every Uttarakhandi but also a very emotional one. The state of Uttarakhand is a symbol of the indomitable courage and struggle of countless mothers, sisters, youth and public leaders whose penance, sacrifice and self-denial brought it into existence.
