Route diversion has been done at several places in Dehradun in view of the proposed monsoon session of Uttarakhand Assembly on Wednesday. During this time all heavy vehicles will be diverted from Kargi Chowk and Doiwala towards Dudhli Road. In order to maintain law and order during the session, barrages will be installed at many places to maintain law and order. Police personnel will be deployed at various places. Vehicles going from Dehradun to Haridwar, Rishikesh, Tehri, Chamoli will be diverted from Nehru Colony Fountain Chowk towards No.6 Pulia.
– From Dharampur Chowk to ISBT, the traffic will go from Old Bypass Outpost to ISBT via Mata Mandir Road.
– Vehicles going from Mohkampur to Mussoorie will go from Jogiwala to Ring Road from Ladpur to Sahasradhara crossing from IT Park to Mussoorie route.
– Vehicles coming from Mohkampur towards the city will come from Jogiwala via No. 6 Pulia via Nehru Colony, Araghar, EC Road.
– Each possible procession (permitted) will run only from Bannu School and their vehicles will also be parked at Bannu School.
– On departure from Bannu School in procession towards Pragati Vihar Barrier, vehicles coming from Rispana towards the city will be sent from Haridwar bypass to the old bypass outpost.
City buses coming from Doiwala towards Dehradun will be diverted from Jogiwala which will take Uter from Kailash Hospital.
– Commercial vehicles going to the Defense Colony will be diverted from the Nehru Colony police station cut towards the old outpost bypass.
– Local people vehicles will be diverted under special circumstances only. Under normal circumstances, individual vehicles will not be diverted.
