The government is continuing its crackdown against those who commit fraud and play with religious sentiments in the name of Sanatan culture by hiding their identity. In this regard, the police and administration have verified more than four thousand people so far. During this period, 300 people including a Bangladeshi have been arrested. The state government has launched Operation Kalanemi against those who commit fraud and play with religious sentiments in the name of Sanatan culture by hiding their identity. This campaign is being seen the most in those districts where there was information about the activities of outside elements. In this regard, 2301 people have been verified in Haridwar district. 162 arrests have been made here. In the capital Dehradun, 865 people have been verified and 113 arrests have been made. This includes a Bangladeshi who lives in hiding his identity. 167 verifications and 17 arrests have been made in Udham Singh Nagar. Apart from this, this campaign is being run continuously in other parts of the state as well. Chief Minister Dhami has clarified that those involved in any kind of illegal activities, cheating by hiding identity or playing with religious sentiments in Devbhoomi will not be spared.
