Chief Minister Trivendra Singh Rawat said that Prime Minister Narendra Modi performed the Bhoomi Poojan and foundation stone of Shri Ram Temple in Ayodhya today. This golden opportunity has come today after many years of struggle. There are hundreds of families in the country and Ayodhya who have been reciting Akhand Ramayana and Ramdhun for a long time. Sri Ram temple was built in Ayodhya, thousands of people sacrificed for it. Today, the struggle of those thousands is taking shape. He said that in 1989 when the movement for the construction of Shri Ram Temple in Ayodhya was very intense, everybody used to awaken for the construction of Shri Ram Temple.
Chief Minister Trivendra said that when the movement was going on for the Shri Ram Temple in 1989, then a quarter of rupees were collected from the people for the construction of Shri Ram Temple, that a stone will be put in your name for the construction of Shri Ram Temple. In the remote village of Uttarkashi, Livadi-Khitari, 18 km on foot, people brought stones from there to construct the Shri Ram temple. The Bhumi Pujan of Shri Ram temple will bring peace to the souls of such people. Senior journalists and campaigners Moropantji Pingale, Ashok ji Singhal, Mahant Avaidyanath ji and Kothari brothers played an important role in this movement.
The Chief Minister shared his remembrance that he was in Meerut when the movement was going on for the construction of Shri Ram Temple in 1989. In disguise, we participated in this movement. Thousands of people participated in this movement with us. Chief Minister Trivendra said that he held talks with Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath ji. Chief Minister Trivendra will soon visit Ayodhya and see Lord Shri Ram. You will also see the form of Shri Ram temple which will be built in Ayodhya.
