Chief Minister Trivendra Singh Rawat has said that creation of employment opportunities is the top priority of the state government.



In a meeting related to employment generation in the Secretariat on Tuesday, Chief Minister Trivendra reviewed the work plans of the departments of MSME, Rural Development, Energy, Tourism, Camp, Drinking Water, Public Works, Labor etc.
Chief Minister Trivendra Singh Rawat has said that creation of employment opportunities is the top priority of the state government. Chief Minister Swarojgar Yojana is the most important among it. Departments of industry, agriculture, horticulture, cooperatives, animal husbandry, fisheries, tourism, forests, energy, etc. should work in this direction by setting goals. Self-employed youth should not have trouble getting loans from banks. Every department should prepare an action plan in relation to employment generation.
Chief Minister Trivendra has directed the heads of departments related to employment generation to provide information about employment and self-employment created in the last three and a half years in the state. He has also directed to submit departmental action plan related to employment generation.
In a meeting related to employment generation in the Secretariat on Tuesday, Chief Minister Trivendra reviewed the work plans of the departments of MSME, Rural Development, Energy, Tourism, Camp, Drinking Water, Public Works, Labor etc. He gave clear instructions that the letterboxes at the secretariat level should be disposed of with timeliness. The Chief Minister has also instructed to set up a Quick Action Team in the Chief Minister’s Secretariat for quick monitoring and disposal of complaints. In the meeting, the Chief Minister also received suggestions regarding employment generation from the officers.

Generate maximum employment through Camp:
The Chief Minister emphasized the need to create an integrated action plan to create maximum employment opportunities through the Camp. For this, he directed to prepare an integrated district plan and to hold a meeting of the Camp Governing Body every two months. With the use of human resources to protect forests and wild animals, along with the Jalagam Project, development of fruit strips and the development of women nurseries, thousands of jobs and self-employment opportunities will be created.

 Growth centers will become the basis of self-employment :
The Chief Minister gave instructions to promote local products and handicrafts to make the concept of vocal for local. Along with making an effective action plan of a district a product, take home ration scheme through SHGs should be added to it. Dress construction should also be included in this. The Chief Minister also emphasized to run the Local Village Light Scheme as a cottage industry, for which attention should be given to market expansion. The Chief Minister has also directed to prepare a board of approved funds for various departmental schemes and install them at the district and development block headquarters so that the general public should also be aware of which department has been sanctioned the funds for the construction of schemes.

 In view of Covid-19, notice boards will also be installed at the entrance of the state :
The Chief Minister has instructed to put up a notice board for the information of entrepreneurs, businessmen, tourists and general public coming in the state, in which necessary information should be printed so that no one gets in trouble. The Chief Minister has also asked to prepare an action plan to promote tourism activities in the state. He has also given instructions to start rafting and sailing.

Generate maximum employment through MSMEs and MNREGA :
The Chief Minister asked for an effective action plan to provide maximum employment opportunities through MSME and MNREGA. The Chief Minister said that small entrepreneurs can also avail MSME along with MGNREGA for various types of small schemes, in which subsidy has been kept along with Mudra loan. In rural areas, the Chief Minister has given instructions to focus on additional employment for 50 days under MNREGA.

 Water life mission should also be added to self-employment :
The Chief Minister said that under the Jal Jeevan Mission, more and more local youth should get employment opportunities in this direction. He said that this will help in employment generation as well as development of agriculture and horticulture.

Action plan should also be made for 100 percent literacy in the state :
The Chief Minister said that we should also link this phase of Covid-19 with literacy campaign. For this, efforts should be made to prepare complete data again. We also have to pay attention to the arrangement of One One Teach One. We all have to work together in this direction to make our state 100 percent literate.
In the meeting, Chairman of Exodus Commission SS Negi, Chief Secretary Om Prakash, Additional Chief Secretary Mrs. Radha Raturi, Mrs. Manisha Panwar, Secretary Amit Negi, Nitesh Jha, Mrs. Radhika Jha, Dilip Jawalkar, Special Secretary Dr. Parag Madhukar Dhakate, Additional Secretary Mrs. Eva Ashish, Dr. Neeraj Khairwal, Dr. Meherban Singh Bisht and other officials were present.
