More than 30,000 pilgrims reached Char Dham and 530 tourists visited the Valley of Flowers.



The influx of tourists has started to increase due to relaxation of restrictions in Unlock-4 by the Uttarakhand government. More than 30 thousand pilgrims have visited Chardham. This season, 530 tourists have arrived to enjoy the adventure and to appreciate the beauty of the valley. Nanda Devi National Park is now expected to re-populate in the Valley from next year.

Secretary Tourism Dilip Javalkar said that the Valley of Flowers is no less than the Tulip Meadows of Switzerland for foreign tourists.

The Valley of Flowers was opened to tourists from August 1. So far 530 tourists have arrived in the Valley of Flowers. Last year 15 thousand tourists visited the Valley.
These flowers bloom in the valley
In the Valley of Flowers, floral blooms of the first anemone and primula species occur. From here June 15 to September 15 here Germanium, Marsh, Marigold, Potentilla, Lilium, Himalayan blue poppy, Bachnag, Delfinium, Ranunculus, Corridalis, Indula, Saussurea, Companula, Pedicularis, Morina, Impetinus, Bistrata, Ligularia, Lobillia, Lobilia, , More than 300 species of flowers bloom including aculegia. Brahmakamal also bloomed in the foothills of the mountain ranges.
