The Prime Minister, Shri Narendra Modi, took feedback through video conferencing from 46 District Magistrates and Commissioners of 10 states including Uttarakhand for prevention of Kovid-19 across the country. In this video conferencing, Chief Minister Mr. Tirath Singh Rawat participated in virtual connect with Secretariat, Dehradun. District Collector Dehradun from Uttarakhand Dr. Ashish Shrivastava, while participating in this virtual meeting, apprised Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi about the work being done for the prevention of Kovid in the capital Dehradun.
In the meeting, Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi took feedback from the District Magistrates of all the districts and sought suggestions for prevention of Kovid-19 in future also.

During this period, the District Magistrate Dehradun apprised the Prime Minister, Shri Narendra Modi about the arrangements made by the State Government like Dehradun Community Surveillance, Decentralization Testing, Home Isolation Kit and Tele Medicine. Home Minister Shri Amit Shah, Chief Minister Shri Tirath Singh Rawat, Chief Secretary Shri Om Prakash, Health Secretary Shri Amit Negi Ji and Chief Ministers and officers of other states were present in the meeting.

After video conferencing, Chief Minister Shri Tirath Singh Rawat instructed the officials that more micro level plans should be prepared to prevent infection in the state. Testing should be increased more and more in the state. The Chief Minister directed that committees should be formed at all levels from the Legislative Assembly to the Gram Panchayat level through public representatives. The Chief Minister has said that apart from the vaccination of the youth, a separate plan should be prepared for the vaccination of the differently abled people of the state. Apart from this, the Chief Minister said that in view of the challenge of the monsoon in the future, all the hospitals of the state, Kovid Care Center should be prepared in advance for the supply of electricity and necessary facilities, so that problems can be removed from time to time.
